We are currently supporting with a 6 month contract role for a Senior OD Practitioner/Job Design Specialist on a temporary six-month contract. This is a hybrid position is based in Birmingham, with 3 days home working and is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, paying c.£400 per day.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading the production of role profiles, supporting and guiding line managers through the process
• Utilising Rolemapper technology to help managers understand how to use it and apply effectively
• Confidently challenging job briefings, questioning criteria and duties to ensure clarity and necessity
• Understanding and applying Job Evaluation (JE) principles within the broader organisational context, ensuring consistency with methodology and techniques used across the organisation
• Collaborating on organisational change programmes, helping to clarify structures and roles

Experience required:

• Experience in a complex public sector environment
• Experience in organisational development, job analysis and/or role profiling

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of job evaluation techniques would be an advantage

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
