Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South London and Richmond, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary 3-4 month contract. The position is due to start on the 29th September and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable.
The ideal candidate will have a basic DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Housing Officer duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out property inspections
- Completing tenancy audits
- Dealing with medium to low level ASB
- Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears
- Signposting customers to additional support providers
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Knowledge on the allocations process
- Familiarity with social housing tenancy agreements
- ASB procedures and escalation processes
- Knowledge of relevant policies

- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
