We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing provider in based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative on an initial three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate for the role will be up to £25.00 an hour on a CIS basis.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ or be time served, and be highly skilled across multiple trades such as Carpentry, Plumbing and Plastering.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out first and second fix carpentry, including repairs and installations

• Removing and replacing toilets, sinks, and associated pipework

• Completing patch plastering, and other plastering duties

• Delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across a variety of properties

• Undertaking a wide range of additional multi-trade tasks as required 

Experience required:

• Experience working within Social Housing

• Experience delivering a responsive repairs service

• Experience in carpentry   

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
