We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Housing Association based across the South West, who are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Yeovil, Salisbury, Weymouth and Bristol. The role offers hybrid working (2/3 days home working), a salary of £46,200 and benefits including a fuel card and a company van.

The ideal candidate must have either an HNC/HND or a similar qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing reactive maintenance surveys on domestic dwellings across the South West, largely focused on damp and mould
• Ensuring opportunities for cost reduction and cost management of repairs are taken, without compromising on the quality of repairs
• Diagnosing the causes of damp and condensation, as well as complex works, and post inspect remedial works to ensure specifications have been followed and adhered to
• Monitoring the work of contractors to ensure that works and meeting pre-agreed KPIs
• Ensuring value for money in the effective procurement and delivery of a repairs service

Experience and Qualifications required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• HNC/HND or any other relevant qualification
