Job description

We are delighted to be representing a Local Government body, based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint an interim Legal Practice Manager for an initial three months.

This position includes hybrid working and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.

The client is looking for someone experienced in supporting In-House Lawyers in a Local Government’s Legal Services environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supervising the Business Support team

  • Managing new starter initiations, handling client concerns in the team and arranging business and training plans

  • Handling budgets for provisions and services, constructing client bills and management reports

  • Technologically backing the team's IKEN case management software

  • Preserving legal quality assurance and providing Administration support for the Legal department

Working hours:

  • 31.5 hours per week

  • Flexible daily hour arrangements

  • Working on-site is required from one to three times a week
