Our client, based in West Sussex, is currently recruiting for a Leasehold Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately, on a full-time basis and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience. This role offers three days per week working from home and two days in the office

The ideal candidate will have experience in Leasehold Management and a full understanding of section 20 processes.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing relationships with third party managing agents, leaseholder & shared-owners
• Responsibility for resale packs (LPE1)/assignments & staircasing - and dealing with queries
• Responsibility for lease extension process and queries
• Responsibility for Right to Buy applications, process and queries
• Responsibility for Alterations/Improvement application and queries, and liaising with surveying department
• Managing S20 process and responding to observations

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience in Leasehold Management

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Monitoring and understanding rent/leasehold accounts
• Financial management and budgeting
• Knowledge of Right to Buy process
