Job description
We are currently working with a trade union who are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner on a 3-month FTC (likely to be extended) based in Central London.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £40,000 up to £45,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have strong employment law knowledge.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing advice on all policies and procedures for all stakeholders
Handling employee relation cases of all levels
Attending meetings with Trade Union representatives as required and provide quality advice to managers in respect of employee relations’ issues to support the delivery of an effective service
Assisting with all HR specific projects including analysis of all current procedures
Coaching managers on all HR best practices and ensuring they adhere to employment laws
Assisting with recruitment campaigns and attending formal interview panels if required
Experience required:
Experience of working in a unionised environment
Advising managers on policy and procedures
Developing string relationships with colleagues, external contacts and stakeholders
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Strong employment law knowledge
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Plan and organise work proactively to meet deadlines
