Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a reputable charity organisation based in West Yorkshire, who are recruiting for a Workforce EDI & Culture Lead on an initial temporary three-month contract. The day rate is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have good EDI awareness across the spectrum, and ideally have a public sector background.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Launching a comprehensive staff survey focused on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and overall organisational culture, facilitated through the Edgecome platform
Coordinating the entire launch process of the survey, taking a leadership role in this initiative, and engaging actively with staff members to encourage their participation, providing necessary support throughout the survey period
Collaborating with senior management to review the results charts generated from the survey, involving a detailed analysis of the data collected, identifying key trends and insights, and fielding out the results to each directorate for further action and consideration
Conducting an in-depth analysis of the Gender Pay Gap Report, working closely with senior leaders to interpret the data
Reviewing the GDP EDI data report, ensuring its thorough completion, and overseeing the launch of the final report across the entire organisation
Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process for 20 interns across the business, including reviewing and shortlisting candidate profiles and assigning them to various departments should they be successful
Coordinating with designated culture champions across the business to facilitate a supportive and inclusive environment for the interns, promoting their professional growth and integration into the company culture

Good and up-to-date EDI knowledge
