Job description
We are currently working in partnership with an educational institutionbased in West & East London, who are recruiting for a HR Manager on a permanent basis. The position is due to start in February and the annual salary for this position is £38,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, carrying out safer recruitment checks as per legal requirements and Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines
Participating in interview panels and advising the CEO and Heads on the recruitment and selection process and best practice
Maintaining the Single Central Register, detailing all pre-employment checks and keeping all applicant and staffing information in line with data protection requirements
Providing HR support to the CEO, Heads and Deputies on grievances, capability issues, disciplinaries, probation, sickness absence and other staffing issues and procedures
Providing generalist HR advice to staff, including weekly drop-in sessions for staff at all 3 sites
Organising Child Protection / Safeguarding, Health and Safety and other essential training for staff and ensuring that these are regularly updated
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Up to date knowledge of employment law
The Ability to work constructively as part of a small team
An efficient, self-sufficient worker, with an analytical approach
