Job description

​We are working with a values driven Academy Trust, who are looking to add a HR Business Partner to their high performing HR team.

This will be a hybrid role, with time split between the Head Office in Tamworth, visiting schools across the Trust and working from home.

They can offer a salary of £41,496, an excellent pension (23% employer contribution) and flexible working hours.

Their ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist knowledge, with experience in employee relations, recruitment and organisational change.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Providing Human Resources advice and leadership to a broad range of senior leaders and Senior Leadership Teams, ensuring engagement whilst supporting their workforce plans

  • Proactively utilise workforce information to identify areas which might require an HR intervention and use HR expertise and specialist knowledge to assist managers to achieve improvement

  • Leading on complex and escalated employee relations casework

  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment and practice, policy, and procedures to support the development of high performing teams

  • Understanding key resource requirements to ensure the development of resourcing strategies that meet both current and future organisational need

  • Developing and implementing employee health and wellbeing initiatives

  • Supporting with the development and implementation of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy

Experience required:

  • CIPD L7 qualified (desirable)

  • Hold a full driving licence with access to a car

  • Significant HR Advisory experience

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Up to date knowledge of employment law

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills

  • High standard of verbal and written communication
