Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a nationally recognised institution within the heritage sector, who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a 9-month FTC.

This will be a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working (2 days home working) and a salary of £48,750 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the public sector and dealing with trade union negotiations. They will also have line managed staff before and provided advice to senior stakeholders on HR related policies.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with the SLT to provide expertise to support organisational redesign and workforce planning

  • Strategising as well as implementing and coordinating the business as usual activities in the HR generalist area

  • Managing ER casework if required

  • Working with trade union representatives to enable appropriate changes to policies

  • Managing a team of Senior HR Advisors and HR Advisors​

Experience required:

  • Negotiating and liaising with trade unions

  • Working within the Civil Service/Public sector

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • CIPD Qualified

  • Auditing and producing data reports

  • Updated knowledge of employment laws

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
