James Andrews are delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed social care provider seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
Based in Lincolnshire with hybrid working (3 days from home per week), this full-time role offers a competitive package of £65,000 per annum, alongside a range of attractive benefits.
Reporting to the Group HR Director and sitting as a part of the Senior Leadership Team, the role plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with employees and management across a designated business area within the Group Division.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Reviewing, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with current employment law, organisational strategy, and best practice
Monitoring legislative changes and ensure policies and HR practices remain compliant and up to date
Working with stakeholders to embed HR policies consistently across the business
Championing a culture of fairness, equity, and compliance in all people-related processes
Managing and advise on a wide range of employee relations issues, from informal resolution to formal casework including grievances, disciplinary, capability, and absence management
Taking ownership of complex and high-risk ER cases, ensuring timely and legally compliant resolution
Supporting managers in applying policies effectively and fairly, providing coaching, documentation, and guidance
Acting as a trusted sounding board for HR colleagues, managers, and leaders on sensitive or complex people matters
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and provide strategic and operational HR advice
Contributing to the development of the people strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business goals
Experience required:
Sector experience within either clinical care, housing related support or social care
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role, including handling complex ER cases
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Experience reviewing, writing, and implementing HR policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
Ability to work independently and handle a busy, varied workload across both strategic and operational areas
