Job description

Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 3 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately and on a full-time basis. The contract offers 2 to 3 days remote working per week and the hourly rate is £25 per hour (umbrella).

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tenancy Management and ASB, hold a enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing a tenancy management service to a patch of 450 properties across Surrey
  • Carrying out estate inspections and serving notices when breach of tenancy occurs
  • Dealing with all aspects of tenancy management including signups, mutual exchanges, terminations, transfers and successions
  • Managing neighbour disputes and discussing any concerns they have, providing an excellent customer service at all times
  • Dealing with low to high level ASB issues and breaches of tenancy, taking down witness statements and dealing with any enforcement or follow up actions up to court level
  • Carrying out a comprehensive viewing and sign-up process with new residents to ensure tenancy obligations and fully understood
  • Experience required:

    Experience required in Social Housing

    Experience working with customers within housing
