​Our client, a housing association based in Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for three Housing Officers on an initial three month temporary contract. The Association aims to use support and funding to make a real difference working with their tenants to improve homes, offer high-quality services and inspire communities.

They are looking for experienced Officers who can start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing an all-round tenancy management service to a patch of around 700 mixed-tenure properties

• Carrying out sign ups, successions and mutual exchanges

• Managing void properties and aiming to re-fill them as quickly as possible

• Managing low level ASB cases such as fly tipping, noise complaints and neighbourhood disputes

• Advising customers on welfare and benefit entitlements

Experience required:

• Basic DBS taken out within the last three years

• Driving license and access to own vehicle

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Strong communication skills to develop relationships within the community

• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
