We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a fixed-term 10-month contract. The position is due to start in the New Year and the salary is £37,473.

This is an excellent position for someone looking for a well-paid Housing Officer, who wants to avoid the stress of searching for contracts throughout 2024.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for covering a generic management of a patch of properties
• Handling low to medium level ASB complaints
• Responsible for collecting rent arrears from tenants and helping them maximise their income
• Serving NOSPS, NTQs and Evictions form tenants
• Carrying out tenancy sign ups with tenants and advising on the consequence of a breach of tenancy
• Offering welfare and benefit advice to tenants
• Liaising with external agencies on a regular basis

Experience required:

• Court experience
• Primary background with ASB and Rent collection
• Great communication skills
