Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a leading UK children’s charity, who are looking to appoint a Head of Corporate Strategic Partnerships on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Berkshire, with hybrid working (4 days home working) and a salary of £65,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working in charities and building strong working relationships.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working in partnership with stakeholders and peers across the organisation, building and leading strategic relationships with external networks

  • Supporting the sustainable long-term strategy of the organisation

  • Leading on the development of new ventures and emerging income streams

  • Representing the organisation externally and at senior level, providing an excellent level of service

  • Monitoring performance and tracking agreed KPIs

  • Verifying that top level data hygiene and accuracy is maintained on Salesforce, leading to maximising returns

  • Managing the organisation’s partnership budget and longer-term plans, producing reports on quarterly forecasts

  • Providing strategic direction, including setting objectives and providing feedback on performance

  • Heading departmental strategy and ensuring decision-making is coherent, guiding the team to success

  • Ensuring risk and legal compliance across the corporate team’s activities

  • Maintaining regular contact with the line manager in regards to the organisation’s performance and growth framework

  • Attending whole organisation meetings, ensuring cross-organisation collaboration

Experience required:

  • Charity background

  • Stakeholder management and building long-term partnerships

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Budget management and financial planning

  • Personable people manager

  • Commercially astute

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

  • Hybrid working (4 days home working)
