Job description

​We are currently partnering with a South Wales based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Facilities Officer to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client are a forward thinking organisation, who are willing to offer a nine day fortnight for this role.

This is a full-time position with, in which we can offer £18 per hour on an Umbrella basis, with the permanent salary being £30,989 per annum, and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring the effective day-to-day operation and delivery of FM services across offices and commercial dwellings
  • Providing a customer focused service to support building users, which includes liaise with customers and contractors on a daily basis
  • Ensuring communal spaces are compliant and managed appropriately at all times
  • Maintaining FM systems and reports at all time, ensuring that they are accurate and up to date to provide an effective FM service
  • Managing FM budgets and forecasting for future spend alongside the wider FM team
  • Leading the day-to-day safety services within the FM function, including fire evacuation tests, site security and safety audits
  • Overseeing day-to-day management of contracted services

Experience required:

  • Experience working in Facilities Management
  • Experience working with a variety of IT systems

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Auditing and risk assessments
  • Strong IT skills, ideally having had exposure to Google docs

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (Can be flexible between 8am – 6pm)
