Job description
Our client, a well-established housing provider operating across the South West, is currently recruiting for two qualified Electricians on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a company van and fuel card. The salary for the role is £38,600 - £42,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations across both occupied and void social housing properties
Carrying out EICR inspections and periodic testing in line with NICEIC standards and current regulations
Diagnosing and repair electrical faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
Installing and maintaining systems such as lighting, sockets, heating controls, and consumer units
Ensuring all work meets health and safety regulations and is completed to a high standard
Accurately completing job reports and certification using digital or paper-based systems
Candidate Requirements and Experience required:
Must hold 2391 (Inspection & Testing) and 18th Edition qualifications
A Gold Card is highly desirable
Previous experience working in social housing environments and with tenants is essential
Working Hours:
39 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (early finish at 3:30pm on Fridays)
