Job description
We are currently partnering with a homelessness charity based in East London, who are recruiting for a Deputy Manager on a temporary basis.
Our client is dedicated to solving homelessness one person at a time. This is a full-time position with a rate of up to £25 UMB.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Dealing with a reduced designated caseload to support the Team Manager in leading, motivating and managing the Personal Development Team
- Contributing towards developing practice based on a trauma informed approach to working with residents with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Using motivational and asset based interviewing techniques to interview, assess and create support plans and risk assessments that address their needs
Experience required:
- Experience with asylum seekers and refugees
- Leading or supervising staff
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Comprehensive understanding of housing and support needs of people who have complex needs
- Understanding of risk management and safeguarding in relation to people experiencing rough sleeping with complex support needs
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
- 9am-5pm
