Job description

Our client, based in Edgware, is currently recruiting for a Criminal Justice Worker on a 3 month contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults from an ex-offender background, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years and ideally also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a caseload of 20 ex-offender clients who have committed low risk substance misuse related crimes

  • Carry our risk assessments and create support plans

  • Attend court and create court reports related to clients community orders

  • Help address clients substance misuse issues

Experience required:

  • Working with clients from an ex-offender background

  • Working with a substance misuuse caselaod

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Risk assessment and management

  • Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

  • 1 day a week working from home
