We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cambridgeshire, who are recruiting for a Contract’s Manager on a temporary six-to-nine-month basis. The position is due to start immediately. There are two days working from home available with this role. The daily rate of pay is up to £325 per day via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience of leading contracts within a social housing provider.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Scoping, delivering and contractually managing planned and responsive contracts across a social housing stock

• Overseeing the delivery of programmes with external contractors

• Ensuring that all on-site works are conducted within Compliance, Health & Safety legislation and regulations at all times

• Addressing any short fallings on-site and actioned remedial work as appropriate

• Carrying out pre-work inspections and overseeing works from inception to completion

• Monitoring KPIs and contractor performance data to ensure the effective delivery of works

• Arranging remedial works to be completed in line with any short fallings following inspection

• Conducting site meetings and service review meetings with contractors, colleagues and senior stakeholders

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• Experience of leading contracts

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday
