Our client, based in Cornwall, is currently recruiting for a Compliance Surveyor on a temporarycontract for three months. This position is for a Social Housing provider who are looking to add to their team, to cover a number of specialist projects.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have compliance contract management experience as well as having HNC, NEBOSH and P405 qualifications

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Managing the legionella, asbestos, radon and lift contracts which includes programming inspections and approving payments

• Project managing the inspection and installation of fire doors, ensuring inspections are completed on time

• Ensuring all remedial works related to compliance are completed on time

• Creating specifications of work for safety related repairs and minor projects

• Developing planned and cyclical maintenance works within timescale and budgetary requirements

• Procuring new contractors for bespoke projects and ensuring value for money across all contracts

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Recent social housing experience

• Contracts management experience

• Full UK Drivers’ License

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• 3 days a week working from home/ 2 days In the Office

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm – flexible working hours
