Job description

​We are currently partnering with a leading Social Housing provider, who are recruiting for a handful of Surveyor vacancies on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £39,328 and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing surveys to identify sources of damp and mould within domestic properties and creating specifications of work for remedial works

  • Technically surveying repairs works for tenanted and void properties, diagnosing property needs and confirming the actions required by providing detailed work specifications or using NHF S.O.R’s

  • Ordering works and associated resources following inspection, liaising with all stakeholders and contractors on timescales for completion prior to issuing orders

  • Liaising with tenants to provide updates on ongoing works and answering any queries they may have

  • Preparing specifications and gathering quotes for work falling outside the schedule of rates process in line with the association’s financial policies and procedures and procurement regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience completing maintenance surveys and damp & mould works

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with tenants and contractors on a variety

  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle
