One of our key clients, a Surrey-based housing association, is currently recruiting for a Benefits Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis for 2 months.

The role is predominantly remote based, though they are looking for people who are willing to come in a couple of days per week!

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Universal Credit and an understanding of how to apply for benefits. Experience using NEC Northgate would be an added bonus!

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing around 30 cases at once

• Identifying benefits which customers are applicable for via accurate means testing, and physically applying for the benefits on their behalf

• Provide duty cover one day per week

• Dealing with legacy benefits

• Liaising with customers over the phone and via email, and carrying out home visits when required

Experience required:

• Universal Credit

• Legacy benefits

• NEC Northgate

Working hours:

• 35 hrs per week – FLEXIBLE HOURS between 8am and 6pm
