Job description
We are currently partnering with a South Wales based Local Authority, who are recruiting for a Asset Accommodation Team Leader to join their team on a minimum of a three month basis, with a chance to become a permanent role following this.
Our client are looking for someone with experience dealing with vulnerable clients, in particular relating to homelessness, and ideally want someone to start in September.
This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of up to £29 per hour on an Umbrella basis. In addition to this, this is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be on site/ in the office 2 – 3 days a week.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Line managing x3 Maintenance, Compliance and Property Acquisition Officers, including monitoring their KPIs
Working closely with the Property Acquisition Officers to acquire new temporary accommodation properties
Ensuring that Compliance across the temporary accommodation properties is being maintained, and raising any concerns with the Compliance Officers to combat any issues
Overseeing the Maintenance arm of operations and ensuring all repairs are carried out within set timeframes and budgets
Liaising with landlords, to address any concerns in regards to their properties being used and to reduce the risk of them ending the lease
Experience required:
Experience in property acquisition
Line management experience
Experience in and understanding of Property Compliance
