HR Client Case Study: Think Money

Back to Blogs
The challenge

Our client was looking for support within their HR team. Our expert consultant took them through the key role responsibilities and salary availability and advised that a HR Project Coordinator would best suit their needs and available budget.

Think Money required a candidate with exceptional attention to detail, great HR policy and project experience and someone able to hit the ground running.

This combination of requirements created a niche candidate specification.

How did we succeed?

Our sourcing strategy;

  • Identification of essential vs non-essential elements of the person specificaton to increae the candidate pool

  • A broad search of active and passive professionals using a multi-resource approach, prioritising candidates with skills which matched the core function of the role

  • Dynamic yet discreet advertising using LinkedIn Recruiter

A total of 52 candidates were contacted within a 36-hour period producing a longlist of nine applicants, four of which were progressed to interview.

What were the results?

Following a successful interview phase, we secured a well-suited candidate whose transferrable skills and behaviors blended well with the team and key deliverables.

Key successes:

  • Time between vacancy registration and successful candidate submission: 4 working days

  • Ideally suited candidate sourced

  • Candidate gave excellent feedback on the role and Think Money once in post

''The candidate is great, really good and exactly what I asked for. They've settled in fabulously and are really doing a great job''

Louise Gape, Head of People & Culture, Think Money
