​We are currently partnering with a leading housing association, who are recruiting for a Voids Surveyor to join their growing team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with a rate of £35 - £37 per hour via umbrella and the start date is subject to notice.

The successful candidate must have experience of working within Social Housing and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Inspecting housing stock and building works, prepare specifications, compile

• Tender/contract documentation to deliver repairs and void works

• Working within authorised budgets and to agreed quality standards

• To excel in customer care provision

• Carrying out pre and post inspections utilising the photometer and iAuditor

• Specifying, authorising, and managing works to completion

• Working with contractors to utilise the budget for maintenance effectively

• Managing complaints and disrepair from contract inception to completion

• Complying with the Group Health & Safety Policy, ensuring own and others health and safety; including H & S audits of contractors

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Qualified to minimum HNC standard, or previous

• Experience in a Construction / Maintenance environment

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
