We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Responsive Surveyor on a three-month rolling contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate for the role is up £45.59 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering void, responsive and damp/mould surveys in domestic properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Inspecting void and occupied properties to assess repairs, maintenance, and condition

• Identifying issues relating to damp, mould, and disrepair and recommending remedial action

• Preparing detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work for contractors

• Monitoring and managing responsive repairs and void works from survey through to completion

• Liaising with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of works

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, housing standards, and organisational policies

• Supporting the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality property services that improve resident satisfaction

• Recording survey data accurately and updating property records and systems

Experience required:

• Experience providing detailed specifications on void properties

• Experience carrying out damp and mould surveys

• Experience liaising with tenants

• Experience in Contract Administration

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
