We are proud to partnering with a Housing Association based in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Support Worker on a temporary contract until the end of December 2025.

The position is due to start immediately, and the rate of pay is negotiable up to £19.00 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The successful candidate must have access to a vehicle and an Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivering support to vulnerable adults with a mental health condition/complex need

• Carrying out needs and risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support and carry out reviews in accordance with policies and procedures

• Promote independence with a view to move on into independent living within a period of 3-5 years

• Supporting customers to maximise their income and to access benefits

• Liaising with colleagues, partner agencies and other stakeholders regarding safeguarding, welfare, and risk concerns

• Dealing with any housing management issues

• Participating customer reviews, team meetings and training courses

• Promoting and encouraging independent life skills 

• Supporting customers to sustain their housing and identify and move onto housing which meets their needs

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday

• 9:00am - 5:00pm

• 35 hours per week
