Job description

We are currently engaged in a collaborative partnership with a distinguished non-profit charity in Bristol. In pursuit of excellence, we are actively seeking a permanent position as Service Manager. This will be a full-time position based in Montpelier, Bristol.

Salary of £36,000 per annum (+£2,000 if CQC registered), with 33 days annual leave (including 8 days statutory bank holidays) and access to award winning training and development within the sector.

Ideal candidate will have extensive experience of understanding CQC, supporting adults, support and manage staff teams and manage the performance of the team.

Duties will include:

  • Provide exemplary support to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their wellbeing and promoting independence and choice in their daily lives

  • Serve as a role model to colleagues by demonstrating best practices in support delivery, fostering a person-centered culture, and inspiring others to excel in their roles

  • Assist Regional Service Managers in coaching, supporting and effectively managing staff teams to ensure high-quality service provision

  • Manage team performances, ensuring the deliervy of care and support upholds dignity, wellbeing and independce for those we support

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, inclduing shifts on a rota’d basis, to ensure 24/7 support coverage, including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Take delegated responsibility for key aspects of daily service operations, contributing to the smooth running of registered services

  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of clinical and personal support, promoting independence and choice for individuals receiving support

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

Required to apply for this role:

  • Experience in supporting adults with complex learning disabilities

  • Great IT skills and experience of maintaining records

  • Knowledge of CQC regulations

  • Level 5/Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety issues and Safeguarding regulations
