Job description
We are currently partnering with a leading firm who provide professional services to the property and construction industries both in the UK and internationally, who are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £60,000 to £70,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing both pre and post contract services, including; budget estimates, cost plans, measurements, valuing works on site, cost reports and agreeing final accounts
Acting on behalf of employer, issuing payment notices, instructions, requests and statements
Utilising creativity to ensure building projects remain within given budget, scrutinising maintenance and material costs to ensure expenses are minimised to the best deals
Working with developers to monitor design development and the progress on agreed budgets from initial calculations to final figures
Producing tender documentation and providing regular reports, such as feasibility reports
Experience required:
Worked within a Surveying Consultancy
Ideally a member of RICS or CIOB
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Proven knowledge of all aspects of Quantity Surveying including both pre and post contract related duties
Effective communication skills in a client facing role
