We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in Greater Manchester, who are recruiting for a Senior Property Solicitor to join their growing team on a minimum 3 month locum basis.

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) with a rate of circa. £50 - £60/hour via an umbrella company (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Court attendance is required in Greater Manchester.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a range of Property Cases, including Disposals, Leases, Surrenders, Acquisitions, Sub-Leases, Deed of Variation, Title Queries, property advice, Easements, Licence to Sublet, Termination of Leases, Consents, Break Notices etc.

• Drafting and negotiating legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing clear, pragmatic property advice to internal stakeholders and external partners

• Supervising and assisting junior members of the team

Requirements:

• Experience within property law

• Local Government experience
