We are currently working with a Housing Association who manage c5,000 properties and are looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant on a full-time permanent basis.

The role will be fully remote and the salary is £58,541.

Daily duties include:

• Taking the lead on the production of year-end accounts

• Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions

• Maintaining the integrity of financial data, reporting and systems

• Leading on the annual year-end audit processes, including liaising with external auditors

• Preparing data for submission, regulatory returns, VAT and benchmarking

• Recording all fixed-asset data including additions, disposals and depreciation

• Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts

Skills/experience required:

• Operational experience within financial accounts

• Knowledge of annual audit process

• Understanding of VAT returns

• Preparing financial forecasts

Working pattern:

• 100% remote

• Monday – Friday

• 37 hours pw

• Flexible working hours
