We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a temporary three-month on-going contract. The position is part time and due to start immediately and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £17.50 per hour via an Umbrella company based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have used the Citrix system previously, have an Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last three years, drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing

• Making welfare calls, checking on vulnerable residents and assessing their needs across three different schemes

• Forming tailored support plans and carrying out risk assessments

• Conducting health and safety checks including of the building and grounds and of emergency lighting

• Monitoring reactive repairs and taking meter readings

• Addressing all safeguarding concerns, acting in line with policy and procedures

Experience required:

• Working within sheltered accommodation

• Managing a small team of staff

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of scheme management

• Skills to create support plans and know how to implement them

• Experience with forming risk assessments

Working hours:

• 21 hours per week (three days per week which can be negotiated)

• Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm
