Our client, based in the Wirral, are currently recruiting for Roofer's Labourer on a temporary basis for the next six months.

Both positions are due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate for the role is £18.85 per hour paid via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing, undertaking reactive maintenance, using a PDA system and be willing to travel across the Wirral to carry out works.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a large patch of properties
• Sourcing items such as tiles, shingles, roofing paper, and other necessary materials
• Handling the repair of fascias, soffits, guttering work and replace tiles on flat and slanted roofs
• Working on various different types of roofing including lead and felt
• Identifying asbestos and using a PDA to input jobs

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

• 38 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday, 8:00am-4:15pm / 3:30pm finish on a Friday
