Repairs & Voids Manager
Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Cardiff Area, who are recruiting for a Repairs and Voids Manager. The client is currently recruiting for the role on both a temporary and permanent basis.
The annual salary for the role is £47,000 and the day rate for an interim option is flexible dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will experience overseeing an in-house trades team, delivering an exceptional repairs service and previous dealings with budgets/contractor invoices.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Oversee and manage voids and repairs works within domestic Social Housing properties
Liaise with trades staff and contractors completing works and authorise contractor payments
Directly line manage 4 Supervisors and 50 Trades staff
Liaise with tenants and senior management to give updates on ongoing works
Inspect completed works to ensure they meet pre-agreed specifications and provide recommendations for remedial works
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience delivering an exceptional repairs service
Experience working with budgets
Working hours:
37 hours per week
08:00 – 16:30 (flexible start/finish)
