Job description

Our client, based near Richmond - Middlesex, is currently recruiting for an Income Officer on a 1 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate for this position is paying up to £25 Umbrella deepening one experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience working an income team and have previously attended evictions and represented organisations in court.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing between 1200 rent accounts across Richmond & Teddington
  • Taking rent payments and assisting residents in setting up direct debits
  • Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears
  • Providing advice on Universal Credit and other welfare benefits
  • Setting up PHPs with residents to reduce debts
  • Preparing and sending NTQs and NOSPs
  • Attending evictions

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Income collection
  • Experience working with customers within housing
  • Attending evictions
  • Representing an organisation in court

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Experience dealing with clients with complex needs
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines
  • Experience of delivering high quality customer service
