Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading charity based in South East London, who are recruiting for a Recruitment Advisor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is proud to be recognised as a national charity that provides practical help to support people in need and has done so for over 150 years.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £29,588 - £33,139 and the role is due to start in the coming weeks.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborating with department managers to identify future hiring needs and providing advice on the best in sourcing solutions

  • Creating and posting all job adverts on internal and external job boards

  • Working with hiring managers to create vacancy briefings to be shared with potential candidates

  • Screening and interviewing all candidates and sharing their details with hiring managers

  • Supporting the continual development of the ATS system/processes and careers website

  • Participating in and providing analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects

  • Managing the performance of a Recruitment Assistant to ensure that all individual and team objectives are met

Experience required:

  • Working across the full recruitment lifecycle

  • Providing excellent customer service in a demanding working environment

  • Managing a busy workload and working to tight deadlines

  • Delivering recruitment training to stakeholders at all levels and mentoring colleagues

  • Line managing staff

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of the recruitment market, current trends and best practice procedures and processes

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Experience of using IT software packages
