Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Recovery Support Worker on an initial one-month temporary contract, with a strong potential for it to be extended.

The position is due to start immediately on a part-time basis, and the hourly rate will be up to £20.00 per hour via an Umbrella company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out group recovery sessions to support shared learning and peer engagement

• Supporting individuals with their mental health recovery through person-centred approaches

• Building trusting relationships to encourage engagement and empowerment

• Developing tailored recovery and support plans based on individual needs

• Encouraging participation in community activities and wellbeing programmes

• Assisting with practical matters such as benefits, housing, and daily living skills

• Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure holistic and consistent support

• Promoting independence, resilience, and self-management strategies

• Monitoring progress and reviewing support plans to achieve recovery goals

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 years

• Access to a vehicle for work purposes

• Previous experience working in a supported housing background

Working hours:

• 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)

• 9:00am - 5:00pm or 12:00pm - 8:00pm

• 22.5 hours per week
