We are currently working with an Accountancy Firm who are looking for a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis to be based out of their Coventry office.

The role is a full-time site-based position, and is due to start as soon as possible. The salary available is c.£27,000 and the position offers scope to progress to a Payroll Team Leader once in post.

Our client is looking for candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing own portfolio of c.90 clients

• Processing weekly, monthly and fortnightly payrolls ranging in size from 1 to 650 employees

• Supporting the Senior Payroll Manager

• Responding to and resolving a variety of queries from clients

• Providing support to colleagues and other ad hoc duties when required

Experience required:

• Minimum two years’ experience within a similar role

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Confident processing end to end payroll

• Ability to resolve internal and external queries in a timely manner
