Multi-Trade Operative
Job description
We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are recruiting for Multi-Trade Operatives to join their growing team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months. This position has the opportunity to go permanent.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £23-£25 per hour on a CIS basis.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting quality and efficient building repairs within tenanted and void properties within social housing
Carrying out a range of works including Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Brick Laying, Painting & Decorating, Groundworks and Fencing
Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage, ensuring the closing of completed jobs
Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Experience carrying out Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Brick Laying, Painting & Decorating, Groundworks and Fencing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment
Strong knowledge of trades
Knowledge of repairs and maintenance within domestic properties
Working hours:
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm
