Our client, based in West London, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The position is due to start effectively on a full-time basis working 35 hours per week. The salary of the role is £33,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Manage the reception and take phone calls, respond to emails, visits to the office and letters and provide a high quality of service to residents and other customers of our maintenance and asset management department - including taking requests for repairs
• Provide administrative support to the maintenance and asset management department, including scheduling and raising repair jobs, processing invoices and carrying out resident satisfaction for our repairs team
• Respond to requests for maintenance works and related enquiries, accurately recording the details of the enquiry and taking appropriate action, liaising with residents and contractors as necessary
• Be the first point of contact for telephone callers and visitors to the office requiring maintenance or repairs, dealing with general enquiries taking ownership of the issues and ensuring that they are actioned
• Take details of property repairs, giving advice, issuing instructions to contractors or referring to colleagues as required
• Process maintenance invoices on the computer system
• Liaise with colleagues in the maintenance and asset department over repair items reported by tenants and leaseholders, including resident satisfaction with the service

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working within a customer service orientated role

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Process maintenance invoices on the computer system
• Liaise with consultants, builders etc. concerning keys, ensuring that key issuing is properly controlled
• Prepare and maintain records and files in respect of all duties performed
