Job description

Our client, is currently recruiting for a Lawyer to support Rail & Infrastructure Projects, on a 3-month locum contract, offering fully remote working.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience of advising on Compulsory Purchase Orders.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling a varied caseload of property matters, with a focus on rail and infrastructure
  • Advising on compulsory purchase orders, in regards to land purchases for the HS2 expansion
  • Handling General Vesting Declarations and Transport Work Orders
  • Supporting the department with general property matters and ongoing projects, as required
