We are currently partnering with a large Charitable Housing organisation based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join their team on a temporary basis for eight weeks. This role has scope to potentially go permanent.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of around £17.00 - £19.00 per hour umbrella and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working with and supporting clients with complex needs to sustain tenancies
• Monitoring rent arrears collection and updating clients when they at risk of falling into arrears
• Carrying out tenancy sign up with tenants and advising on the consequence of a breach of tenancy
• Identifying any safeguarding concerns and report these to the appropriate team
• Working with clients to help with independent living and achieve their goals
• Helping clients to be sufficient enough to move on to permanent Housing

Experience required:

• Experience working within complex needs

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management
• Financial management and budgeting
• Safeguarding knowledge

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
