Job description
Our client, based in the West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Housing Operations Manager to join their passionate and driven team on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable up to £30.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing team leadership and leading in the operational delivery of services with a key focus on driving improvement.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Collaborating with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire
Using people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Balancing resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity
Travelling regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership
Leading the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience
Monitoring and improving operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services
Experience required:
Proven experience in a housing management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
A strategic thinker with a passion for improving housing services
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Financial management and budgeting
Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and conflict management
