We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bedfordshire, who is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis for 3 months, with the salary of £25.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have access to a vehicle and hold an enhanced DBS dated within the last year.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of properties completing tenancy management duties, dealing with cases of ASB and ensuring safeguarding is adhered to

• Completing tenancy audits and reviews and taking the appropriate follow up action

• Carrying out visits to patch regularly and conduct estate walkabouts

• Dealing with all cases of low level ASB including noise and nuisance complaints

• Working with residents and promote community involvement to help tackle cases of ASB

• Dealing with conflicting priorities work in an outstanding customer focussed service

• Conveying complex information to customers and key stakeholders

• Following procedures and maintaining, clear, concise records

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing a Housing Management service

• Must be up to date with knowledge of Housing and related legislation

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
