Job description
Our client, a well-established Housing Association based in White City, is currently recruiting for a Housing Manager on a six-month temporary contract.
This is a HYBRID ROLE offering 2-3 days working from home.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team in excess of five persons to successfully deliver an excellent housing service for both customers and stakeholders alike.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a team of five persons including Housing Officers and Lettings Officers
Leading the team in providing services to a patch of 1000 properties
Conducting individual performance reviews in order to maximize team performance
Overseeing internal recruitment when the need arises
Enforcing standards and progressing with disciplinary action if required
Managing low level ASB across the patch
Providing Universal Credit and Welfare Benefit advice
Experience required:
Managing a team of at least five
Experience working with vulnerable women is desirable
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good organisational and time management skills
A thorough knowledge of tenancy management and rent arrears recovery
Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation
Experience assisting with clients with complex needs
Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines
Working hours:
35 hours per week
Monday - Friday 09:30-17:30
