Job description

Our client, based in the East Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary would be £40,000 per annum including company benefits.

The ideal candidate must hold a NEBOSH certification, have experience of a similar role within social housing and hold a full UK Driving License .

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality aspect of the Housing Association

  • Supporting site operatives with training and guidance of Health and Safety queries/problems

  • Developing Health and Safety systems and processes

  • Developing mobile working technology within the business

  • Completing risk assessments and method statements

  • Completing COSH assessments

  • Devising and implementing the company’s health and safety policies and systems

  • Keeping up-to-date with all relevant legislation and policies

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing/Construction sector

  • Experience working with customers within housing

  • Experience with ISO standards

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Risk assessment and management

  • Compliance and due diligence

  • Strong customer service skills

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
