We are currently supporting with the recruitment for a Head of HR Systems for a large public sector organisation in Birmingham, to lead on the operational aspects of the Oracle HR system.

This position is a long-term contract role, expected to last a minimum of six months with a high likelihood of extension, offering hybrid working (4 days working from home) and up to £550 a day via an umbrella company.

They are looking for someone experienced in the management of the Oracle HR system, particularly Oracle HCM and Oracle Recruitment, and experience of managing a team of staff within a HR setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Dealing with subject access requests

• Managing contracts with third party providers

• Handling patches and upgrades

• Dealing with testing and signing off

• Ensuring security systems are in place

• Focusing on continuous improvement and challenging oracle

• Ongoing BAU control of oracle HR Systems

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Expert user of Oracle HR, particularly Oracle HCM and Oracle Recruitment

• Previous experience managing a team

• Previous experience in a senior systems position

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours a week

• Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
