​We are currently working in partnership with a company based in Worcester, who are recruiting for a Group Accountant on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start ASAP dependent on notice and the salary on offer is between £45,000-£55,000, dependent on experience. They offer a hybrid working policy of three days per week in the office and two WFH.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, pragmatic and committed to helping the team achieve the Group’s objectives.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Consolidation of results from the UK and overseas operating divisions around the group

• Monthly and statutory reporting, for various stakeholders – such as the executive board and lending banks

• Working with the finance teams made up of various FDs across the international group

• Supplying the Board with data for key commercial / strategic purposes, and producing ad-hoc analyses for M&A and financing

• Assisting with continuous improvement of reporting system, working with our external IT consultants

• Working with various external advisors on other financial reporting-related projects

• Working with newly acquired businesses to help on-board them with Group processes

• Maintaining head office accounts

Experience required:

• Advanced knowledge of excel

• Experience working in practice or industry

• Consolidation experience beneficial but not essential

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
